FUSION SMILE PROGRAM REQUIREMENT

The Fusion Technologies SMILE Program is available in the following countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Eligible Organizations

To be eligible, organizations must meet the country-specific requirements listed below.

Please note that the following organizations are eligible for the Fusion SMILE Program:

  • Providing relief to the poor
  • Advancing education
  • Improving social welfare
  • Preserving culture
  • Preserving or restoring the environment
  • Promoting human rights

Ineligible Organizations

To be eligible, organizations must meet the country-specific requirements listed below.

Please note that the following organizations are eligible for the Fusion SMILE Program:

  • Nonprofit organizations organizations that have not obtained recognized charitable status in their respective country
  • Healthcare organizations
  • Commerce and Trade Associations without charitable aims or activities benefitting non-members
  • Political, Labor, and Fraternal organizations
  • Sponsorships of events, tables, exhibitions, or performances
  • Individuals

Fusion Technologies reserve the right to grant or deny an organization’s application or participation at any time, for any reason, and to supplement or amend these eligibility guidelines at any time. Selections are made at Fusion Technologies discretion, and are not subject to external review.

Program requirements by country

To be considered for this program, an organization must be a charitable institution or fund that is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) with a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

To be eligible for the Program, French organizations must be registered as a non profit per “loi de 1901.”

To be eligible for the Program, German organizations must be exempt under § § 51 to 68 of the Tax Code of the corporation (Charities).

To be considered for this program, organizations must either be:

  1. A Trust under the Indian Trusts Act or similar Trusts Act of the respective states in India; or
  2. A Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1960 or similar Act of the respective states in India; or
  3. A not for profit Company under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 or Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. Your organization must have all the requisite permissions to receive the grants under this Program.

To be eligible for the Program, Italian organizations must be headquartered in Italy and be registered as a nonprofit organization as determined by the Ministry of Finance.

To be eligible for the Program, Dutch organizations must be headquartered in the Netherlands and be registered as a nonprofit organization as determined by the Ministry of Finance.

Important Eligibility Details:

We only allow one membership per organization. However, branches of umbrella organizations that share Employee Identification Numbers (EINs) with their parent organizations are eligible for individual memberships. Branches must indicate that they are applying as a “related organization” during the application process and go through additional screening.
